Shreddies Healthcare Underwear
Our healthcare garments are handmade, locally in the UK.
The ladies underwear is made from 95% cotton jersey and 5% elastane material.
Cotton is generally considered a more comfortable and more natural material for use in underwear.
The healthcare garments are technically very complex to produce compared to the giftware garments, as they comprise of a number of different panels, which are cut and sewn together by hand.
The main body of the men's garments are made from 92% cotton jersey and 8% elastane.
Our most advanced and effective garment for men is the men's support boxer. To achieve a snug fit of the carbon panel in the gusset area it is of benefit to lift the genitals slightly. This is achieved with our patented built in testicular sling. The lifting of the genitals has some other advantages in terms of support, as well as presenting an enhanced profile.
